We’re proud to be a small, family-run team of financial planners based in Launceston, Cornwall. Our Cornish roots are a big part of who we are, and so are the people we work with. That’s why we put our clients and the relationships we build with them at the centre of everything we do.

Being a small team means we get to know you properly. We take the time to understand what really matters to you and what you want your life to look like. That understanding shapes the advice we give and keeps your goals at the heart of your plan.

For us, good financial planning is about giving you more choice, confidence and freedom to enjoy the life you want. Peter Dart

Founder | Chartered Financial Planner (Fellow)

I’ve worked in financial services since 2006 and have always been passionate about continuing to learn and develop within the profession. Over the years, I’ve completed a wide range of professional qualifications and am proud to be both a Chartered Financial Planner and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, reflecting a very high level of professional knowledge and experience.

I founded Dart Wealth Management in 2018 because I wanted to build a financial planning firm that puts people first. What I enjoy most about my job is getting to know our clients, understanding what they want from life and helping them put a plan in place to make it happen.

Outside of work, I love travelling with my young family and spending weekends by the coast. Keeping active is a big part of my life too, whether that’s getting out on my bike or enjoying a round of golf with friends.

James Dart

Financial Planner | DipPFS

I began my career in financial services in 2008 and have since gained a broad range of experience in banking, mortgage and protection advice, and wealth management throughout the South West. After moving back to Cornwall to raise our family, I joined Dart Wealth Management and continued developing my career in financial planning, helping clients work towards a wide range of goals.

Financial planning has always felt like a natural fit for me. Growing up, I was inspired by my dad’s career as a financial adviser and the difference he made to people’s lives. I really enjoy building genuine relationships with clients, understanding what matters most to them and helping turn their goals into a clear plan for the future.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my wife and son, heading to the beach and camping in our campervan. I’m also a keen runner and enjoy challenging myself to improve.

Sian Dart

Operations & Marketing Manager

I joined Dart Wealth Management as Operations and Marketing Manager after 15 years working as a teacher and senior leader in primary education. After having our third son, I decided it was time for a new direction, giving me the chance to spend more time with our family while also joining Pete, my husband, in the family business.

I now love being part of the team, supporting the day-to-day running of the business and helping to showcase the work Pete and James do. I’m also often one of the first people you’ll speak to when booking an appointment, and I really enjoy getting to know our clients.

Outside of work, life is usually pretty busy with three boys and their various sporting activities. When I do get some spare time, I love days at the beach, reformer Pilates and trips to the theatre.
