Financial planning doesn’t need to feel complicated. We’re here to take away the complexity, so your choices feel clear and straightforward. From your first conversation with us to putting your plan in place and keeping it on track, we’ll guide you through each stage.
1.
It starts with a simple conversation. We’ll arrange a short initial call to hear what has brought you to us, answer any early questions and make sure we’re the right fit for what you need. If we don’t think we’re the right people to help, we’ll always be honest and point you in the right direction.
2.
This is where we really get to know you. In a free, no-obligation meeting, we’ll talk about your current financial position, what matters most to you and what you want your life to look like. This helps us understand your goals and what you’d like your financial plan to achieve. We’ll also explain how our fees work, so you’re clear on the cost of working with us from the outset.
3.
Once we understand where you are and where you’d like to go, we can start exploring what might be possible. Using our Voyant cash flow planning software, we can bring your finances to life, look at different scenarios and consider areas such as pensions, investments, retirement planning and your attitude to risk.
4.
We’ll bring everything together, carry out the research and create a personalised financial plan around your goals and circumstances. Rather than looking at individual products in isolation, we consider how the different parts of your finances can work together to support the life you want.
5.
We’ll talk you through our recommendations clearly, answer any questions and make sure you understand the plan. If you’re happy to go ahead, we’ll take care of the next steps and put everything in place.
6.
Life changes, and your financial plan should change with it. We’ll review your plan regularly, keep track of your progress and make adjustments where needed. And if something changes between reviews, we’re always here to talk.
Financial planning can help at many stages of life, whether you’re thinking about retirement, planning for your family or simply wanting more clarity and confidence about the future. It’s about understanding where you are now, what you want life to look like and putting a plan in place to help you get there.
Absolutely. Either Pete or James will be your dedicated adviser and your main point of contact. They’ll take the time to get to know you, your circumstances and your goals. As there are only three of us, we work closely together, so while you’ll always know who your adviser is, you’ll also have the support of the whole team whenever you need it.
Meetings can take place face to face in the comfort of your own home or at our office in Launceston, where we have easy parking, accessible facilities and good coffee too! Alternatively, we’re more than happy to meet by video call if that works better for you.
Of course. If you would feel more comfortable bringing your partner, family member or another trusted person to a meeting, they’re very welcome to join you.
Not at all. If you have them to hand, it’s helpful to bring some ID, any existing policy statements, recent payslips and your last three months of bank statements. Don’t worry if you don’t have everything ready though. We’ll guide you through what we need and help you bring everything together as we go.
